How to use a portable tire inflator
- Insert the valve of the rubber tube directly into the tire valve. When you hear the sound of the tire deflation, it means that the air has circulated, and tighten the inflation knob.
- Take out the power clip, clamp the red clip on the positive pole of the battery, and the black clip on the negative pole of the battery. Or directly insert it into the cigarette lighter socket.
- Turn on the motor switch to start inflating.
- When inflating, the instrument pointer will rise with the air pressure. When the large pointer reaches the appropriate tire pressure of the car (usually 30-40PSI), turn off the inflator switch, remove the plug and the air nozzle.
Use a professional ball needle or nozzle to inflate balls and other equipment that needs to be inflated.
Precautions for use
- When inflating, it is best to start the car engine first to increase the power and avoid excessive consumption of battery power.
- Only use DC 12V power supply, and do not use household AC power supply.
- When inflating, you need to rest and cool down every 10 minutes of work to extend the service life of the motor.
- Generally, it takes about 3 minutes to inflate a tire to reach normal tire pressure. If the pointer rises quickly when starting to inflate, it means that the air has not been inflated into the tire, and you need to stop and re-operate.
Do not leave the machine when using it, pay attention to the tire pressure at any time, and avoid over-inflation.
The inflator should be kept away from moisture, heavy drops, sand and mud intrusion, and children should not play with it to avoid damage.
When using a car lighter air pump, note that the starting current is large. Do not turn on the power switch while the tire is connected to avoid blowing the fuse. The correct procedure is to first turn on the power, allow the air pump to operate normally, and then connect the tire to begin inflation.
Follow the above usage and precautions, and you can use the portable tire inflator safely and efficiently. Different types of tire inflators have different operating methods, but most portable tire inflators are easy to use. If you are using a specific brand of tire inflator, please refer to the brand’s user manual for more detailed operating instructions.
