Correct Method for Rinsing a Car Roof with a High-Pressure Washer
1. Preparation
- Ensure the high-pressure washer is adjusted to normal pressure; a medium pressure of 1000-2000 PSI is recommended.
- Connect to a stable water source and check that the hose and washer components are intact and leak-free.
- Choose a well-ventilated car washing area without direct sunlight.
2. Rinsing Steps
- Start from the roof: This is the most crucial step. Rinsing from top to bottom allows water to carry away dirt with its flow, avoiding recontamination.
- Maintain proper distance: Keep the washer gun 15-30 cm away from the car roof.
- Adjust the rinsing angle: Rinse at an angle, not directly perpendicular to the roof, to reduce the impact of water pressure.
- Ensure even coverage: Start from the front of the roof, proceeding from front to back and left to right, making sure every area is covered by the water stream.
- Control the time: Rinse each section for 1-2 minutes to completely flush away dust, leaves, and other large debris.
