What’s the best material for car wash towels?

1.Microfiber
Most car wash towels are made of microfiber, mainly because of its high cost-effectiveness, strong water absorption, and ability to leave no streaks after wiping. Microfiber can absorb up to seven times its own weight in dust, particles, and liquids. Each filament is only 1/200th the size of a human hair, which is why microfiber has such powerful cleaning ability.
The gaps between the microfiber filaments can trap dust, oil stains, and dirt until they are washed away with water, soap, or detergent. These gaps can also absorb a large amount of water, giving microfiber its strong absorbency. Furthermore, because the water is trapped in the gaps, it dries quickly, effectively preventing bacterial growth.
Due to its extremely fine fiber size, microfiber car wash towels have significantly reduced stiffness, resulting in an exceptionally soft feel. The fine fiber also increases the layered structure of the fibers, increasing the specific surface area and capillary effect, making the reflected light within the fiber more finely distributed on the surface, giving it an elegant luster like silk, and excellent moisture absorption and dissipation properties.
2.Suede Towels
Suede towels are made from sheepskin and are lint-free and dust-resistant, preventing lint buildup on the car body during washing. They are highly absorbent, soft, smooth, and won’t damage the paint. They quickly dry the car body.
3.Imitation Suede Towels
Imitation suede fabrics are characterized by dense, fine, soft short nap on the surface. The fabric is soft and thick, with good warmth retention, moisture absorption, and abrasion resistance. Currently, imitation suede woven fabrics are mainly made from polyester microfiber and other raw materials.
These towels cannot be scalded with boiling water and will become quite stiff after drying, so they need to be stored moist. However, these towels are easy to clean and have good absorbency, durability, and tensile and tear resistance.
