How to choose an automatic car wash machine

1 minute, 39 seconds Read

Automatic car wash machines vary in price depending on the type and brand. They can be broadly categorized into non-contact and brush-type machines.

(I) Types of Fully Automatic Car Wash Machines

1. Reciprocating Car Wash Machines

Reciprocating car wash machines are relatively inexpensive. They mainly consist of washing and drying sections. The machine itself moves back and forth to complete the washing, waxing, and drying process. Some configurations can even dry the car. Typically, they can wash about 20 cars per hour. Due to their high noise levels, longer waxing and washing times, they have gradually been phased out in Europe, the United States, and other developed countries.

2. Tunnel Car Wash Machines

Tunnel car wash machines are more expensive, but they can wash approximately 120 cars per hour. Their characteristics include low energy consumption, low noise, and fast washing.

(II) Car Wash Machine Component Selection

Fully automatic car wash machines mainly consist of electrical control components, electrical parts, mechanical parts, torsional components, sensors, and the main structural components of the frame. When purchasing, you must first check the comprehensive safety protection of electronic components, including leakage protection. Electrical components (such as water pump motor, reducer, and pneumatic parts) should also be considered. Of course, the materials of the main frame should also be considered for rust prevention treatment; improper treatment will affect the overall appearance and service life.

(III) Car Wash Brush Material

1. Nylon Brush: First-generation car wash brush, it has better durability but can slightly damage the car paint; its use is now rare.

2. Cotton Brush: Second-generation car wash brush, it has a large water volume and good flexibility; this brush is currently used in the market. Its drawback may be that it can trap sand or grit, which can harm the body during car washing; its lifespan is short.

3. Foam Brush: Third-generation car wash brush, the brush hair is soft, does not absorb water, has a long service life, and does not trap sand or debris, so it will not harm the body.
