The difference between foam car wash and regular car wash

Foam car washes are cost-effective, time-saving, labor-saving, clean, visually appealing, and free of abrasive particles. They are often called “car foam baths” and are an essential piece of equipment for car detailing. What are the differences between foam car washes and regular car washes?

Differences between Foam Car Washes and Regular Car Washes:

1. Car Wash Liquid: The main cleaning ingredients in car wash liquids are generally natural plant-derived surfactants. Some car wash liquids also contain natural car wax, which has natural anti-static properties. Car wash liquids are generally neutral, gentle on hands, and do not damage the paint.

2. Car Wash Wax: Car wash wax generally refers to the water-repellent agent used in automatic car washes. This water-repellent agent has a strong water-repellent effect, effectively removing water from the vehicle surface and shortening the car’s drying time. It also gives the vehicle surface a water-repellent property. In addition, this agent has multiple protective functions, preventing the car body from oxidizing, making it less prone to dust accumulation, and effectively resisting ultraviolet radiation, preventing paint fading and aging. When using, the car wash wax should be added to the car wash liquid in a certain proportion. Water-based wax is neutral and completely harmless to car paint. Regularly washing your car with water-based wax can enhance the shine of the paint and prolong the protective effect of waxing.

Differences between Foam Car Wash and Regular Car Wash Processes:

The traditional car wash process is: rinsing with a car wash gun → applying foam → wiping → rinsing → drying.

A special foam car wash involves: blow-drying the engine head → spraying a mud loosener → rinsing → hand-wiping with wax → rinsing → drying. Regular car washing, as a traditional method, is particularly prone to damaging the paint, and long-term wiping can cause the paint to become dull, faded, and scratched.

Foam car washing is a product developed through over a decade of practical experience. It is gentle on the car, does not leave a dull finish, does not fade, and even enhances the shine and wax effect on the car paint.
