I. Advantages of a Home Car Wash Gun

  1. Water Saving: It uses only one-tenth the water of a traditional car wash, significantly reducing the precious water resources wasted annually on car washes.
  2. Versatile Use: The car washer can be filled with water and placed in the car, providing a backup water source and allowing for immediate washing when the car gets dirty.

  3. Time and Money Saving: It saves you the risk of having to go to a car wash, the time spent waiting in line, and the fuel costs.

II. How to Use a Home Car Wash Gun

  1. First, connect the water gun or brush to the water hose. Place the water inlet hose into the bucket. Plug the cigarette lighter plug into the car’s cigarette lighter socket, then unplug the power cord from inside the car and close the doors. It is recommended to use a pre-charged lithium car wash gun, which eliminates the need for a power source.
  2. After connecting the power, check for leaks. Once everything is ready, start washing from the top down, beginning with the roof, then the sides.

  3. Rinse heavily soiled areas and the car’s surface with the water gun. After rinsing, switch to the brush and scrub. 4. After rinsing, spray car wash liquid onto the car paint surface, and while spraying, use a semi-damp imitation chamois cleaning cloth to wipe the washed parts of the car body.

  4. After the car body is dry, polish it with a cotton towel to make it look brand new.

  5. Precautions: In winter, to prevent the water inside from freezing, remove the water inlet hose and spray for a while until the water is drained. Do not immerse the car wash machine in water (to avoid damaging electrical components). The car wash machine should be placed in a dry place.

III: Car Washing Precautions

(1) It is best to use soft water when washing the car, and try to avoid using hard water with a high mineral content.

(2) Use a dedicated car wash liquid. Do not use soap or dishwashing liquid, as these products are highly alkaline and will cause the paint to lose its shine, produce local color differences, age the sealing rubber, and accelerate the metal corrosion of areas where the paint has peeled off.

(3) When high-pressure washing, the water pressure should not be too high, generally not exceeding 7 MPa. It is best to maintain a distance of more than 15 cm between the nozzle and the car body. (4) When cleaning the car’s paint surface, never use brushes or rough cloths to avoid scratching the paint film and leaving marks.

(5) Each step of the car washing process should follow the principle of top to bottom, i.e., from the roof, front and rear hoods, sides, lights, bumpers, side skirts, wheels, etc.

(6) Do not wash the car in direct sunlight.

(7) Do not wash the car in extremely cold weather to prevent water droplets from freezing on the car body and causing the paint to crack.

(8) After washing the car with car wash liquid, rinse thoroughly; do not be careless.
