Is Car Paint Coating Useful?
Car paint coating is useful. Coating, like waxing, is a method of protecting car paint. The only difference is that the coating layer isn’t wax, but a layer of silica crystals. The main component of the coating agent is siloxane. After being applied to the metal surface, it reacts chemically with oxygen in the air to produce silica, the main component of glass. Therefore, coating involves applying a very thin layer of glass film to the steel surface, isolating the paint from the air and thus protecting it.
How to Apply Car Paint Coating
Step 1: Cleaning the Car Exterior
Wash the car body with clean water to thoroughly remove dirt, dust, fine sand, oxides, etc.
Step 2: Light Polishing
Use a polishing machine with polishing compound and a wool wheel for polishing. The initial polishing pressure should be determined according to the strength and thickness of the paint.
Step 3: Polishing to Remove Glare
This step requires using a low-speed polishing machine with a wave-shaped sponge and abrasive compound to remove the glare left on the car body during polishing. Afterward, wipe clean with a towel.
Step 4: Glazing
Use the polishing machine to vibrate and press the glaze into the car body, allowing it to penetrate better and enhance its adhesion. After glazing, leave it for 15 minutes before the next step, coating.
Step 5: Spray Gun Coating
Add a professional coating polymer and spray it on with a spray gun. Apply evenly to the car body. Wrap the rearview mirrors, wiper blades, etc., with a towel or tape.
Step 6: Cleaning
After the coating has completely penetrated the paint and dried, use a professional cleaning cloth to clean away any remaining coating or residue from the car paint. Pay special attention to cleaning the crevices and gaps in the paint.

Feel and Smoothness: After application, the paint surface is smooth and glossy, like liquid glass, with a cool, silky feel;
